Re: How's your 3D quality?

Same issues as colovelo. I have 3D crosstalk appearing on images that are outside the main focal depth. As in anything that is supposed to be perceived as on a different plane as the front and center, close to the veiwer. It's sometimes unwatchable and this is unacceptable. I've complained about it on this and other forums and my observations are shared by many other 850C purchasers. Mine is the XBR-75X850C and i find it quite frustrating to spend this much, expext a clean 3D image as I do on my passive Sony upsatirs (last year's model 55X850B. That TV delivers beautuful crosstalk-free 3D throught the entire focal length/depth. I have received call-backs from Sony and they've tried to resolve the issue over the phone with no luck. They walked me through the standard restarting, turning off bluetooth and tunring it back on, and several other setting changes. Nothing has resolved my issue. I truly believe this can be resolved or fixed with updated firmware and my last call from Sony promised an escalation to their engineering team, they were supposed to call me and get further information, but I never received that call. I had a case number and will have to look it up for the next time I call them so they can refer directly to what's been tried before. It's not a pairing issue as my glasses are the Sony BT500A, with other glasses being owned and truied, such as XPand, Panasonic, and 3DActive. All of these glasses perform to the same level of disappointment. I trust Sony to address and fix this issue once and for all. It's difficult to watch my $4,000+ 75 inch TV downstairs with a ghosty picture when I can watch the very same movie upstairs on my upstairs 55X850B Passive 3D with absolutely NO crosstalk. What a beautiful 3D picture when it works properly, like it's supposed to. I'm so disappointed they haven't fix this issue yet after so much time has passed. The other small but nonetheless aggravating issue is the fact that Amazon Prime cannot deliever Dolby Digital 5.1 audio as it advertises to be able. Instead I get PCM stereo audio. All other members of other forums have noted the same issue so it's not just mine. WHEN are they going to fix this Amazon app? Again, my year-old Sony 4K TV upstairs performs this duty flawlessly. I ahve all my settings correctly set so again, it's a firmware issue that Sony needs to address. WHEN? It's anyone's guess.I would like Sony to call me on this issue and the 3D issue once again so they can tell me where their engineering department stands on resolving these issues, especially the 3D crosstalk, which is infinitely more important to me. I love 3D, have over 90 movies, and wnat a good 3D crosstalk-free image as we all shoud expect. They CAN fix this. Don't let up on them or it will go forgotten and they'll simply move onto their new introduction of 2016 TV sets. If they can't fix it, they should stand behind their product and replace it, though I'm more interested in them fixing it through a firmware update as I love every other aspect of my picture. The XBR-75X850C delivers an otherwise beautiful picture. Please Sony, take acre of us loyal Sony customers. Thank you for letting me have my say here on this forum, sorry my message is so long, but it's not the first time I've written the community board on this issue and am slowly losing hope they will ever address and fix it, especially now that the new 2016 TVs are about to appear on store shelves and they haven;t even fized the existing models owned by customers who spent a good penny to own a Sony.
